How to Use Your Public Lands Alliance Reciprocal Discount

Public Lands Alliance Logo

Look for the PLA logo at retail locations to know where discounts are available.

  1. Make sure you are an active CNMF member. Renew your membership or register for the first time here.

  2. Visit a participating public lands store.

  3. Show proof of your CNMF membership at checkout. CNMF members receive a membership card in the mail, which can be shown at participating stores to receive the reciprocal discount. Or, take a photo of your membership card and keep it on your phone to show if you forget your physical card at home.

  4. Receive at least 10% off eligible store purchases at participating locations!

Not a member yet? CNMF memberships start at just $25 per year and support Cabrillo National Monument’s educational programs, visitor experiences, and habitat conservation while unlocking benefits like the PLA Reciprocal Discount Program.

CNMF member benefits also include invitations to exclusive member events and member e-news updates throughout the year. Learn more about CNMF membership levels and benefits here.

Note: The PLA Reciprocal Discount Program applies at participating public lands stores, and discounts may vary by location. The standard reciprocal discount is at least 10% off eligible in-store purchases.

Not all Public Lands Alliance members participate in this program and participating organizations and sites are added to the list throughout the year. This information is subject to change without notification. It's also always a good idea to ask the organizations about their specific offerings before you make your in-store purchases.
