Cabrillo Whale Watch Festival 2026
The Annual Cabrillo Whale Watch Festival is an all-ages celebration at Cabrillo National Monument, featuring exhibitors, speakers, hands-on crafts, guided land-based whale watching, and more!
Throughout the day, exhibitors and presenters from across the fields of marine science, conservation, education, and environmental stewardship will share insights into their work, the importance of healthy oceans and coastlines, and ongoing efforts to protect marine life. Full speaker schedule TBA in January.
Visitors of all ages can enjoy hands-on activities and crafts, while park staff and volunteers will be stationed throughout Cabrillo to help visitors spot migrating gray whales.

There is no additional cost to attend the Whale Watch Festival beyond standard entrance fees to Cabrillo National Monument. Park entrance fees vary; please refer to the National Park Service website for current pricing: https://www.nps.gov/cabr/planyourvisit/fees.htm.

Parking for the Whale Watch Festival is available in the standard Cabrillo National Monument lots, and is included with standard park admission. Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
